I love the B06 Modern opening for black:

- e4 d6 2. d4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. Bc4 e6 5. Nf3 Ne7 6. Bg5 h6 7. Bh4 a6 8. O-O Nd7
I find it leads to a strong position for WHITE to attack and a decent one for BLACK to defend (especially if it leads you to the Hippo Defense (From - Petrosian vs. Spassky, World Championship 1966 (game 16))) because, as Black, I've had my greatest success with atypical openings:
