Jul 26, 2020 at 11:56 comment added g3k0 I didn't know the Stappen method, interesting. I also watch videos on youtube and train with puzzles on the main chess websites. Videos helped me to avoid the most common traps that beginners like to play, unfortunately in general I can't memorize many sequences of moves so I prefer to study the principles of the game on books, I think this helps to recognize common patterns.
