Long time chess player both amateur and semi-professional, i have played in a few international chess events but mainly finished towards the bottom. I had a certain lost game against nigel short in a simul (in 2010) after 4 hours and 40 moves, i resigned only a pawn down though. Daniel King whopped me in a simul and i got draws against aaron summerscale grandmaster and sarah hegarty WFM all otb. Made a distracted queen enprie error against marcus harvey, and have lost against two ims in proper otb, got a draw against 192ecf(2134 fide) Shami abdullayev in the blackpool open and have three draws against 191 grade (2080fide) Matt Mackenzie
