I like collecting problems, and, if they're not too hard, trying to solve them. I don't particularly like orthodox directmates (especially complicated ones). I prefer classical retros (those where you can observe features of the position, make a chain of deductions and thereby answer the question). I also like selfmates, helpmates, series-movers, but am not so keen on fairy pieces or unorthodox rules.
